lessons in life
It’s almost officially one month until I graduate and as I was looking at my calendar I was thinking back on my four years at college and all of the lessons I’ve learned.
Some were reinforced, some awakened, some brand new.
This one was strengthened.
I’ve had this picture saved on my desktop for years and every time I see it I smile and get a little boost of confidence and encouragement.
(*I don’t remember where I got it/ I don’t have the source link.)

Just because it’s Monday…name the most delicious food you ate this weekend! I usually don’t eat much meat but I was craving a cheeseburger. It rocked my world. And I think it may have pumped up my muscles. (Well, maybe not.)
so exciting for you! I remember that feeling of graduating, a whole WORLD of possibility ahead! π
my favorite phrase – Whatever You Focus On Gets Bigger. I turn that into a reminder to think positive and focus on the good. may as well, right?
That picture is so awesome!! The best thing I ate this weekend was definitely maple short ribs in Arizona! So delicious!
The weeks leading up to graduation are definitely bittersweet. Enjoy every moment of them!
My motto is courtesy of my mentor in journalism — “Dream Big; Work Hard.” It encapsulates my outlook so perfectly π
I love that picture – very inspirational!
My motto is Hakuna Matata π
Love it!
“You always are where you’re meant to be.” That’s something my mom told me years ago when i was feeling discouraged about an internship I was doing. I always remember that no matter where I am or what I’m doing in life. Everything we experience, good or bad, turns into a lesson learned. π
I really like that one! Thank you for sharing π
